PLANES-TRAINS and the HILTON

Thursday evening after work, depart Milwaukee, arriving Los Angeles 11:00 pm.  First night at the LAX Hilton Hotel. Have a Packer snack of cheese & crackers at the 24 hr bistro before turning in to rest for the big day ahead.

Friday morning board motorcoach for Union Station in downtown LA.  Then board the Pacific Coast Liner for a scenic 2 1/2 hour trip along the coast, arriving at the world famous Santa Fe depot in San Diego.  Once off the train you will be taken to Seaport Village where you can watch street performers, shop and have lunch.

Around 3 pm, board the motorcoach for the vibrant waterfront Hilton Hotel where you will stay the next two days.  After check in, you can rock and roll to the Gaslamp District, trolley to Old Town or just have a cocktail in the Hilton Odysea Liquid Adventure overlooking the bay.

Saturday is your day to explore San Diego.  First timers should consider a visit to Balboa Park, the Zoo, ever-popular Sea World or spend more time at Seaport Village.

Sunday is of course PACKER GAME DAY.  Check out of the hotel and board motorcoaches for the game.  After the victory, you will head toward the Pacific Ocean for a dining experience while watching the sunset.  Two hours after the sun sinks into the ocean, continue on to Lax for your "red-eye" flight back to Milwaukee.  The good news is that you don't have to miss work on Monday.

Includes Rt Air MKE/LAX, oneway train Los Angeles to San Diego, 3 nights Hilton Hotels, all ground transfers airport/train/hotel/game.

Does not include game ticket. (game ticket cost appears to be $130+)
